Everything is bad contains a selection of the poems, essays and actions written by the Russian poet and activist Kirill Medvedev over the past decade. From his farewell, in protest, from the literary world, the genuine joy of finding a jar of pâté in a supermarket, to political reflections during an action to preserve Khimki Forest near Moscow - the raw, everyday, direct, sometimes absurd or funny but always radically sincere poems by Medvedev do not shy away from any topic, and are not afraid to take a stand.

Together with the feminist punk group Pussy Riot and the artist collective Chto Delat from Saint Petersburg, among others, Kirill Medvedev belongs to the younger generation of writers and artists in Russia who oppose the regime of Vladimir Putin.
