For ten years Joost Oomen toured the poetry stages of Europe. He recited in chicken coops, Portuguese castles, the TV studios of Eva Jinek and Humberto Tan, metro stations and circus tents. He stole the heart of the general public through his participation in the Slimste Mens, after which his shows at De Parade, Lowlands and Oerol were visited in large numbers. His books and his columns on Instagram and in the northern dailies also have a loyal fan base. The only thing missing? A poetry book.
