Covers individually splash painted in sumi ink and bright blue calligraphy ink, with additional gold ink to the outside. Stitched with brass wire. Collated, bound, and trimmed by hand. Patterson is a Life Fellow of Queens' College Cambridge. The Plenty of Nothing, his elegy for Jenny Diski, won the Forward Prize for Best Poem in 2017.
